Did you know you can personalize what notifications you get and how you get them?

Here's how to set up your personalized notifications.

Start by signing in to your account.

(SPEECH)

From the mobile app, select More from the bottom navigation bar and click Settings from the top of the screen.

Then, select Notification Settings.

Here, you can enroll in notifications for Accounts, Cards and Security.

Let's look at accounts.

Select the account that you'd like to personalize.

On this screen, you can choose from a list of notifications that you'd like to receive, such as deposit confirmations, or notifications if your available balance falls below the amount you choose.

To set your available balance notification, click Available Balance Falls Below, enter the amount you want and click Save.

Select the corresponding icons to choose whether you'd like to receive push, text or email notifications.

If you would like to receive text notifications, you'll need to enroll to select that option.

From online banking, you'll click Edit to choose how to receive the notification.

To enroll in text notifications, enter the mobile number you'd like to use, then hit Save.

To begin sending you text notifications, Navy Federal will need to send an initial enrollment text.

You can either hit Send to get that enrollment text now, or select Not Now.

If you choose to receive it now, you'll get a text you'll need to reply to and then select Done.

If you choose Not Now, return to the screen when it's convenient for you so we can send the text and finish your enrollment.

Once you select your preferred method for all the notifications you'd like to receive, press Save.

You'll get a confirmation that your preferences have been updated.

And remember-you can always follow the same steps to personalize notifications for your other Navy Federal accounts and cards.
